Terrors of northern Taelmoor, the Frozen Raiders are surprisingly successful and tenacious pirates and bandits. They will take whatever they can from the surrounding land, most notably human slaves. Somehow, they manage to sail their ships in the treacherous waters around The Cold Hand, thus escaping the wrath of the Stoutsmen and the Mariners. With slavery such an affront to the laws of Vale, the two decades-long failure to rid the world of these villains have been cause for many a general to retire.
Although they are marked on the map of Vale, naturally even the best mapmakers have no idea exactly where they are at any given time. Somehow, they are rumored to build great palisades one day and then vanish without a trace the next.
