The Wintry Wastes are not a particular place; rather they are a blanket term for all the land above the mountains north of Dusk Glen. The continent stretches north almost as long as Taelmoor is across, but the lands remain largely unsettled and mostly useless. Mountain ranges, vicious icy beasts, and more await those explorers brave enough to enter these wildlands.
Rumors abound of people who live in this no man's land, for every decade or so someone comes down from the north in search of fame, wealth, and glory. While these people are certainly barbarians, they doubtlessly create great waves wherever they go. Apparently, anyone capable enough to survive in these lands are quite mighty folk.
