Duskwood is a unique place that seems to be teeming with magic despite the best efforts of the Stoutsmen to stamp it out. Something... or someone appears to live within the wood, riling up all the creatures and beasts who live there. Aside from this, spirits roam the air and ghosts haunt dreams.
It is said that a traveler can pass through the Duskwood with cold iron, good steel, and a powerful mind. However, I have been unable to track down the truth of these accounts, as nobody has managed to visited Dusk Glen since the Desolation.
